Forever Friends, Diecut and PINK Challenges!

Good morning!  So we went to that Stark's Steak & Seafood restaurant last night, Jeremy & I, his mom and her husband, and our friend August.  We had a blast - it was a more upscale place, which we don't do very often, but still casual enough to not be snotty.  KWIM?  We started with appetizers - roasted bone marrow (I passed on that one), calamari tossed with a spicy orange chili sauce (delicious), and Dungeness crab "tater tots".  Yummy.  My dinner was Petrale sole with roasted grapes, capers, and almonds with sweet potato fries.  Absolutely delicious.  AND - we drank 2 bottles of wine, after which I started to realize why people enjoy wine.  hee hee  And seeing how I do live in wine country, I might have to purchase a bottle or two every now and then... :)  So that was our big night out and we had a great time.

I was honored to be asked to return as a guest designer for the:

The folks at Forever Friends are kind enough to offer those of us who were on Michelle's final DT to play along when she sponsors them.  I always enjoy an excuse to play with her fun images, so I always say yes!  :)  Here's my creation for today:

I used Enchanted Slumber, colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits, Prismacolor markers, and lots of glitter.  My cardstock is from SU!  I used an embossing folder for the red cardstock base, and then some angel wing diecuts from La La Land Crafts.  Finishing touch was some little red gemstone stickers.

I've been making an awful lot of larger, square cards lately - so many that I had to buy a box of appropriate sized envelopes.  I like the larger space to work on - I don't like the additional postage it costs to mail the darn cards.  Oh well - this cutie was made for the following challenges:

I used Shy Fairy from Redonkulous Designs, colored with Prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits and lots of glitter.  DP is from MME, sentiment is from Dilly Beans, and flower is from my stash.  Peace.
